Divine Sound Meets Danube Gold

Since 2022, we have been part of the Divine Sound Meets Danube Gold project at the Danube Stage in Tulln, working as sound engineers. This unique concert series, held annually against the picturesque backdrop of the Danube River, merges music and nature into an unmistakable and memorable experience.

Sound Concept and Technical Implementation

Our main focus as sound engineers is the acoustic design of the performances. We carefully plan the microphone setup to preserve the natural timbre of both instruments and voices, while crafting a harmonious and balanced overall sound. The microphones are placed in such a way that they capture the full dynamic range of the music as well as the intimate atmosphere of an outdoor concert.

One of the key challenges is maintaining a consistent sonic balance across a large, open space—ensuring that every member of the audience experiences the same high-quality sound, regardless of where they are seated. To achieve this, we take full advantage of the venue’s natural acoustics while implementing uniform sound reinforcement throughout.
