Klimabiennale 2024
Sounddesign | Soundinstallation
In 2024, the team was responsible for the complete audio engineering across the festival grounds of the first Klima Biennale Wien. Over the course of several weeks, numerous events, performances, and concerts were technically supported and realized.
Planning and Implementation
In addition to conceptual planning, the team handled the full technical implementation for stages, sound installations, and discussion formats. The task extended beyond cohesive sound design to ensuring a reliable and smoothly functioning technical infrastructure for all events.
Sound Installation – Sofia Jernberg
Particular attention was given to the sound installation by Swedish-Ethiopian vocalist Sofia Jernberg, known for her experimental vocal techniques. The technical realization required a high degree of precision to effectively reproduce the fine nuances and wide vocal range of the artist. Careful planning and installation created an immersive sonic environment in which the audience could fully engage.
Live Events and Technical Support
The team was also actively involved in live events, including concerts, panels, and performances. Technical control was managed throughout, allowing artists and organizers to rely on continuous professional support. Thanks to extensive experience in live mixing and a refined sense of spatial acoustics, a clear and balanced sound image was achieved.
Klima Biennale Wien 2024 was a special project that combined technical expertise with creative sound design, making themes of sustainability tangible through sound.
