Das MuTh

Project: MuTh Concert Hall – Sound Mixing, Support and Consulting

Since 2018, we have been responsible for sound mixing, technical support and consulting at MuTh – the concert hall of the Vienna Boys' Choir. Since its opening, MuTh has established itself as one of Vienna's most important venues for classical music, chamber music, jazz, new music and interdisciplinary projects. With its outstanding acoustics and state-of-the-art technical equipment, it offers artists and ensembles an ideal platform for extraordinary musical experiences.

In addition to live mixing and technical support for events, we provide comprehensive acoustic and technical consulting to the MuTh team and performing artists. This includes optimizing existing technology and developing custom solutions to meet each production's individual requirements. Our close collaboration with organizers, musicians, and technical teams ensures that every concert is presented at the highest level, both musically and sonically.

The particular challenge lies in preserving the hall's natural acoustics while bringing out the sonic nuances of each performance. We ensure that the sound remains organic and authentic – whether for purely acoustic performances or concerts requiring discrete electroacoustic support.

Through our years of work at MuTh, we have helped establish the hall as one of Vienna's leading venues with excellent sound quality. Our work supports the venue's mission to present music and theater at the highest quality while promoting both traditional and innovative artistic concepts.
