Hommage - Matthias Bartolomey

Hommage is an album with a special backstory: In February 2001, Franz Bartolomey recorded a programme featuring Brahms and Strauss in the Great Broadcasting Hall of the ORF RadioKulturhaus. Twenty-five years later, Matthias Bartolomey and Ariane Haering return to this repertoire, as a musical tribute and as a very personal continuation of a tradition. The programme is complemented by a short Schubert piece in an arrangement for cello and piano by Matthias Bartolomey.
