Classical Album & CD Production

From the first session to the finished master, we produce classical albums end to end, with recording, editing, mixing and mastering all in-house and one Tonmeister-trained team responsible for the result. Based in Vienna, we produce for artists, ensembles and labels across Austria, Europe and worldwide: in our studio, on location with our complete mobile setup wherever the music plays, or fully remote.

Everything under one roof

We record in our studio or with our mobile setup on location, then handle editing, mixing and mastering ourselves. Because every stage stays in the same hands, the decisions made on the first day carry through to the final master. Each part can also be booked on its own, whether you need only mixing, only mastering, or only the editing of an existing recording.

Every format your release needs

We deliver in every format a classical release calls for: CD masters (DDP), SACD (which almost no studio still offers), 5.1 surround, Dolby Atmos and Apple Digital Masters. From physical disc to immersive streaming, your album leaves us ready to publish.

Beyond the recording

An album is more than audio. Through trusted colleagues and partners we also help you find musicians, develop artwork, arrange photography and plan concerts around the recording. We can take on the coordination of the whole production; distribution and disc pressing we hand to specialised partners.

Produce with us from anywhere

A full album can be produced entirely remotely: you send us your recordings and we edit, mix and master them to release standard. It works best when the musicians are in the room with us, but distance is no obstacle to a finished record.
